The "Centre International de Préparation Physique en Altitude" (The international centre for physical preparation at high altitude) is an oxygenation centre which has been recognised by the Ministry of Sport and the Ministry of Education and hosts sportsmen of all levels the whole year round.

Standing at an altitude of 1326 meters, Briançon a "Sous Préfecture"* of the Hautes Alpes region is the highest town in Europe. Its climatic conditions allow for intensive and quality sports training to take place.

C.I.P.P.A is located in the heart of a 12 hectare sporting complex and is perfectly adapted for the organisation of your training courses and sporting recreational activities.

The city of Briançon possesses big sports assets in a luxurious executive. Since July 7th, 2008, the city has the big honor to have been retained by the Committee of the UNESCO world heritage, in conformance with the cultural possessions for the work of VAUBAN for its fortifications. This good becomes the 32nd site registered in France on the prestigious list of the world heritage.

C.I.P.P.A and its expansion

At C.I.P.P.Ayou will find a 180 m2 weights room, saunas, massage room, conference venue, bar, T.V. rooms, equipment storage room, as well as a centre for sports medicine. Specialists in sports medicine, and an athletics trainer are available to assess the energy potential of your athletes. Following various tests, the medical team will be available to provide you with written material which will allow you to optimise the performance levels of your athletes.

Hosting capacity :

Two buildings with the room to cater for 105 people. Rooms include two to three beds with ablution facilities.

Restaurant :

A large dining room will host you in a friendly setting. We adapt our menus according to the dietary nature of the top level sporting activity in question, and we adapt our meal times according to the requirements of your sports programmes.

Geology :

In collaboration with the "Centre Briançonnais de Géologie alpine" (The Briançon Centre for Alpine Geology) we host researchers of all levels and all origins, for theses and post theses, who have been sent by foreign universities...training courses (indoor and outdoor) for groups. These training courses are intended for both high school and university students.

Heritage :
